What Are Your Most Anticipated Games of 2018? | Community Question Episode 7 | Backlog Battle

Hello everybody and welcome to this week’s
Community Question! My name’s Alex and I wanted to wish all
of you a belated Happy Valentine’s Day. I know, some of you folks don’t like celebrating
these kinds of occasions, but it’s a good excuse to recognize the best parts of this
community – and that’s you. Yes, the person who clicked the link to watch
this video. The person who replies in the comments and
tells us your answers to this week’s Community Question. You are the reason why Community Question
continues, and I’m looking forward to more questions in the weeks to come! Before we ask the Community Question this
week, we’ll need to read and reply to all your answers from last week’s question today! For the people who missed it, last week’s
question was, “What video game dish would you like to try in real life?” Admittedly, not a lot of people actually answered
this question maybe, in part, because it’s certainly not something people notice or look
for when they’re playing their games. That said, we’ve got some really good answers
this week – so let’s get right down to it! downphoenix writes: The pork chops in Castlevania, or as some
might call it, wall chicken. At first thought, I’m sure everyone’s
reaction to this would be “Eww?” But if you think about it, the wall chicken
has never failed us. It’s never been poisoned, covered in gross
stuff, and it’s still sizzling on the plate. It’s magical, and I’m sure the flavor
holds up. If you ask me, the big question is: “Who
put it there?” My guess? It’s gotta be Dracula. It makes sense! Wouldn’t he want to fatten the old Belmonts
up to a point where they’d be succulent for him? Think about it. Nauto-Ace-211-EX writes: E-tank. Lately, I’ve been either lazy or sleepy,
so this drink could help me be more active and play more video games. It sounds like what you really need is an
energy drink! And energy drinks are generally filled with
caffeine and sugar which will make you crash real hard at the end of that whole set! Take my advice: do some light calisthenics,
walk, or stretch in the morning. You’ll be surprised how much energy you’ll
get just by doing that! Biophoenix writes: In a lot of the Tales games, there is a lot
of food that not only looks good, but sounds good as well! One good one I can remember is the Spicy Chicken
Roll. It sounds great, and it can give you 100%
more experience so you can’t go wrong with that! I asked biophoenix if this was like a chicken
sushi kind of deal and he said yes. More like chicken rolled with rice. I’m not one for spicy food as I mentioned
last week, but imagine if you added some tempura batter to that and deep fried it. Sounds yummy right? Look it up online… there’s a wealth of
how-to’s on it! Bufudyne writes: Maxim Tomatoes, from the Kirby games. With how healthy they are in-game, imagine
the incredible spaghetti sauces you could make out of it! And if anyone gives you flack for eating pizza
every week, you can just tell them that it’s topped off with Maxim Tomatoes so you’re
doing it with good reason – though that might be wishful thinking on my part! Spaghetti and pizza are two of my favorite
Italian dishes, apart from Milanese and Parmigiana, so adding Kirby’s Maxim Tomatoes sounds
delightful! I’d imagine that apart from being healthy,
unlike most things in real life that are healthy, it’d be rich in flavor. It’s probably what gives Kirby his incredible
appetite! I’m trying to imagine the other possibilities
beyond Italian food as well… creamy tomato soup with Maxim Tomatoes with grilled cheese
sound delicious as well! Yum~ And that’s all the answers we managed to
get in this video! Remember, if you want to make sure that your
answer appears on next week’s Community Question, make sure you subscribe to the channel
and click that bell icon so you won’t miss the release of the latest episode and post
a comment with your answer right away! Also, if you’ve got the time, check out
the channels of everyone who’s replied: you’ll never know if they’re a YouTuber
or not! The questions in the past few weeks have been
challenging, to say the least, with questions ranging from favorite foods to favorite rpg
villains. So let’s bring the questions back down to
reality and ask the biggest question on every gamers’ minds: What are your most anticipated games of 2018? Like most answers to the questions in the
past, it can be open. In fact, if you’re completely not sure if
a game’s coming out in 2018, pick a whole bunch of games with tentative dates! Just make sure it’s at least been announced
by the developer or publisher. While you build your list, I should do a quick
plug that I’ve talked about my most anticipated games of 2018 on my podcast, Backlog Battle
Podcast along with my co-host Daniel. There’s a link to the video if you click
on the i button on the top right, or you can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes, Overcast,
and Google Play. That being said, I did have one game that
I forgot to include in that list – so let me tell you what it is. Other than the games I’ve listed on that
podcast episode, I somehow completely forgot to talk about Red Dead Redemption 2. Yes, the original is still in my backlog to
beat – I’m at that “Mexico” part in the game – but I’ve also played its Undead
Nightmare expansion and truly enjoyed my experience with the game. Given that Grand Theft Auto V was the first
Rockstar game that I ever beat, I have a feeling that Red Dead Redemption 2’s gonna be the
next one I actually enjoy playing from beginning to end. And that’s one of my picks for my most anticipated
games of 2018. What’s yours? Post your reply on the comments below! Also, don’t forget to click Subscribe and

to talking with you about your replies!
