MSI Pro Cast#17 –The Best PC for PUBG | Gaming Motherboard | MSI

Hi everybody,
welcome to this new episode of MSI Procast! Just like everyone, I’m a huge fan of PUBG and to highlight the full 1.0 PC release of the game we are going to show you how you can optimize
your PC for the best PUBG experience. In this video we’re going to show you
how you can enhance your gaming experience by overclocking your CPU, your memory,
maximizing your frame rates and take advantage of some exclusive MSI technology just like any other MMO game, PUBG is CPU intensive It takes both a fast and multicore processor to drive the game. If your CPU is lagging behind, no worries There is a simple trick to drive up speed,
it’s called overclocking. Overclocking means increasing the CPU frequence to effect the calculation speed of the processor. If you don’t know how to manually overclock in the BIOS, simply open up the MSI Gaming APP, select which overclocking profile you want to use and you are done. with this software we can potentially squeeze out
an extra 700 megahertz out of our Intel Core i5 8600 K this translates to moderate yet significant game
and performance within the game all this with nearly no impact on heat output
thanks to our all-in-one watercooling Now I know what you might be saying looking at the FRAPS counter isn’t very scientific and you are right. so we ran a few benchmarks and here are the results so as you can see depending on which application is being run CPU speed definitely has an impact on performance With the current situation in memory shortage you may have noticed insanely high prices when it comes to memory RAM nonetheless is one of the most important components of your system There is a huge performance gain of using dual channel
or two dimms over single channel, quad channel isn’t making much of a difference
for daily usage such as gaming. Now while sixteen gigabytes is plenty as far as installed memory goes the second most important aspect is speed And this is where things usually get quite expensive memory speed defines the rate at which your CPU
can interact with your OS so the faster your RAM the less a bottleneck it is on your processor Just like your processor your memory can be overclocked to do so you can use the ‘MSI Memory Try It’ feature to load pre-configured speed profiles for your memory this is done from the BIOS is applied on reboot MSI engineers prepared various profiles
to choose from different frequencies and timings Try them out and see which one works best for your kit again we ran a few benchmarks and here are the results as you can see memory frequency also has an impact on gameplay It is so simple you’d be crazy not to do it And now to frame rate. Graphics cards nowadays can pump a onsiderable amount
of frames per second so the higher the count the more fluid your in-game experience will be while it’s been proven that the human eye might not be able to see a difference over a certain frame rate we all know it’s much more comfortable to play
at 144 Hertz rather than 60 Hertz Upgrading your screen is not just about hitting a theoretical higher frame rate it’s about maximizing experience you’ve paid for by choosing a higher grade graphics card Imagine now you have a 60 Hertz screen with a 1080 rendering images at a speed that varies between 100 and 200 frames a second only 60 of the rendered frames would be available
to be displayed on your monitor Such a waste so choose a monitor that does your graphics card justice At MSI we have a wide range of gaming monitors to choose from as always check out msi.com for more info Finally audio. PUBG is a game where spatial sounds definitely matter Being able to hear at 360 degrees can be that one thing that gives you an extra edge to dominate your opponent While you might not be able to use this tool for all situations Sound Tracker is the ultimate tool to visually see
where audio comes from in-game This tool is included with the Nahimic Audio software suite and can be triggered via a keyboard shortcut or a pre-approved game list Sound Tracker displays a small radar like visual overlay
on the game you’re playing They can be customized to match the game’s interface by adjusting its position transparency and size Give it a try, it’s worth it! With 360 degrees of sound you’ll be able to spot players approaching from anywhere even your back
so that’s it for this video and now you know a few simple tricks to upgrade
your PUBG gaming experience If you have any questions let us know in the comments below If you liked this video give us a thumbs up and subscribe to MSI Thanks for watching and happy PUBG gaming
