Dell’s Upgradable Laptop Under $1000 & the Alienware Aurora

[Shannon]: Hey, everyone! Shannon Morse
here from Gamescom 2018 with GeForce, and I’m joined by Joe
to talk about Dell. Dell’s here along with Alienware. – Tell me, what are you showing off, sir?
– [Joe]: We love Gamescom. It’s one of the biggest shows
in the world, and it’s great to connect – with the actual fans and gamers and…
– [Shannon]: Yeah, totally. [Joe]: …most of our hardware,
we started showing at E3, but it’s the first time we’ve had it
on display here in Europe. [Shannon]: So, what are you showing us
specifically, because I saw a laptop over there
that I’m extremely interested in. [Joe]: Well, it’s our G5 –
it’s a great for under a grand laptop. – [Shannon]: Oh, that’s nice.
– [Joe]: It has 1050 TI, 1060 Max-Q, core’s Intel’s Core i7 processor. User-upgradable, great for somebody who’s…
– [Shannon]: Oh really? – [Joe]: …going back to school,
that kind of thing. – [Shannon]: That’s awesome! I love it when I’m able to unscrew
the back of a laptop and upgrade, – like, the SSD, or whatever it might be.
– What kind of screen are we looking – at on that thing?
– [Joe]: It has a FHD, or you can also – upgrade, do a UHD. Of course –
– [Shannon]: You have options? – [Joe]: we’re Dell. Really good. Yeah.
– [Shannon]: I love having options, and it’s under 1,000 bucks,
which means it’s super friendly, especially if you’re, like,
going back to school. Moving on, you also have a really
awesome tower over there too. [Joe]: Yeah, our Alienware Aurora is one
of our most expandable towers. It’s also a great affordable product.
Starts 899 US; – it can take up to two graphics cards.
– [Shannon]: Wow! [Joe]: And, we’ll be offering the RTX
series just as soon as they’re released. It uses Intel’s latest
8th Gen Core i7 6-core processors. [Shannon]: And, of course,
if you have one of the older models, it is user-upgradable.
You can take off the side of it. [Joe]: Yes, of course.
The Aurora is toolless. Pull off the back cover
and you’re inside, tinkering with it however you want,
and we support your upgrades. – So, if you have a problem, you call us…
– [Shannon]: That’s amazing. – [Joe]: …we’re still going to
support your system. – [Shannon]: Thank you
so much, Joe! I am super excited to check those out
and maybe play some games back here. Remember to like,
comment, and subscribe for your chance to win
any of our GeForce RTX 2080 TIs. -[Joe]: Can I win one too?
-[Shannon]: Well, you’ve got to subscribe. – [Joe]: Done. Done. I’m going to go now.
– [Shannon]: All right. [Shannon]: You are entered, sir. Thank you so much. I’m Shannon Morse.
See you next time.
