CONTENTS: 1x Headrest, 1x Star Base, 5x Wheels,… 1x Joint Bracket, 2x Side Covers, 1x Tilt Mechanism, 1x Gas Spring, … 1x Telescopic Cover (Gas Spring), 2x Plastic Levers, 1x Glove, 1x Grease, 1x Multitool, 2x Metal Screws Remove the pre-assembled M8 screws from the sitting element. Now you’ll need the joint bracket as well as the plastic covers. Insert the screws you’ve prepared and
tighten them by hand, then use the provided tool. Assemble the plastic cover using the provided metal screw. Use the provided multitool to remove the
screws from the backrest. Repeat this on the other side of the
backrest. IMPORTANT: Use the side lever to adjust the joint bracket of the sitting element into a vertical position. Place the backrest carefully between both
joint brackets of the sitting element. Start the next step on the side with the fixed joint bracket. Tighten the prepared screws by hand. Tighten the screws in the backrest using the provided tool. Insert the screws and tighten the side covers carefully with slight pressure using the provided multitool. DO NOT TIGHTEN TOO MUCH!
The covers are only meant for the looks of your chair. If you tighten them too much, they might get damaged. Adjust the backrest to the rearmost
position using the side lever. Turn the chair around. Use the foam packing material to protect your floor and the seat. Place the tilt mechanism on the threaded holes. The control knob for the tilt resistance points to the front of the sitting element. Tighten the M8 screws. Lubricate the opening for the gas spring with the provided grease. It facilitates the assembly and reduces possible moving noises later on. Lubricate the bars for the plastic levers with the provided grease. Lubricate the opening of the star base with the provided grease then. Lubricate the top part of the wheels with the provided grease. They will be easier to insert then. Push the plastic handles over the bars of the tilt mechanism. The flat ends should be pointing to the front of the sitting element on both sides. Once both levers are in the correct position, push them tightly. Put the telescopic cover over the gas spring. There should be 4-5 cm of the gas spring poking out of the cover. Put the gas spring incl. telescopic cover in the destined opening of the tilt mechanism. Turn the star base around and insert the
wheels one by one. Place the star base onto the gas spring and firmly press it into place. Pick up the chair with one hand holding the sitting element and the other holding the backrest. Set the backrest in an upright position using the side lever. Sit down on the chair so the gas spring will connect with the star base. Place the headrest over the two designated holes in the backrest. Well done! We hope you’ll enjoy your new MAXNOMIC® seat!
